Computer eye strain is one of the most common problems associated with at-work issues and it is easy to understand why. Consider this: your eyes are staring at a computer screen for 8 hours a day every day. Although this is an unconscious effort, it is actually working the muscles that are inside the eyes. If your arms were lifting heavy material 8 hours a day, they would most certainly get tired; furthermore, if your legs were running a marathon for 8 hours a day, every day, there is no doubt that they would begin to feel the burn. What is nearsightedness?
Nearsightedness, also know as myopia and short-sightedness, means you are unable to focus on objects in the distance. Depending on their degree of myopia most people are still able to focus clearly focus on objects close to them, and can see to perform close up tasks like reading or writing. Though far away objects, even an object on the other side of a room, will appear blurry.

2. Wear quality sunglasses
Whether you wear sunglasses purely for fashion or to shield your eyes from the sun, always make sure they are good quality and provide UV protection. Not only are your eyes at risk from harmful UV rays, but also the skin of your eyelids.
